In order to promote legal awareness, ethical practices, and regulatory compliance within the Direct Selling industry, the Ethical Direct Sellers Association (EDSA) introduces the Direct Selling Compliance Quiz & Pledge Initiative.

This initiative is designed to ensure that every Direct Seller and stakeholder possesses basic knowledge of applicable laws, including the Consumer Protection (Direct Selling) Rules, 2021, notified under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Objective of the Initiative

The primary objectives of this initiative are:

To enhance awareness of Direct Selling laws and compliance requirements
To promote ethical and responsible business practices
To ensure that Direct Sellers understand their rights, duties, and legal boundaries
To create a culture of self-regulation and accountability within the industry

About the Compliance Quiz

The Direct Selling Compliance Quiz is a structured assessment tool designed to evaluate the participant’s understanding of:

Direct Selling Rules, 2021
Legal vs illegal business practices
Consumer protection provisions
Ethical selling standards

*Participants are required to provide accurate responses based on their understanding of the regulatory framework.

Certification & Pledge

Upon successful completion of the quiz:

Participants demonstrating adequate knowledge and correct responses shall be awarded an EDSA Compliance Acknowledgement.
Eligible participants shall receive an official EDSA Ethical Direct Selling Pledge.
